Sydney based stylist Jolyon Mason works at the forefront of innovative fashion, bringing an international awareness and knowledge of styles, trends and popular culture to the local industry.
Finding inspiration in the evolution of culture – be it classic or highly modern – Jolyon has contributed to some of the world’s leading fashion magazines including Grazia, GQ, Vogue Australia, i-D, Oyster and Russh. Such contribution has seen Jolyon travel around the world to such inspirational locations as New York, Beijing and New Zealand, working alongside internationally acclaimed photographers, models and make up artists to achieve outstandingly creative visuals.
As a result of his extensive and high calibre editorial portfolio, Jolyon has styled numerous advertising campaigns in his career, most notably Westfields, Herringbone, Levis, MYER, Moet & Chandon and Fairfax & Roberts.
Outside of print, Jolyon regularly works with Australia’s leading fashion designers to produce outstanding runway parades and events, capturing the imagination of media, buyers and consumers alike. Such designers vary greatly in style, demonstrating Jolyon’s versatility and unique ability to understand a creative vision, and include the inimitable Romance Was Born, Nicola Finetti, Ginger & Smart, Birthday Suit and Lifewithbird. In addition to individual shows, Jolyon has also styled large scales shows for L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival and MYER, which incorporate the work of numerous Australian designers for a broad audience.
Jolyon’s strong working relationship with local and international designers has built a growing celebrity client base for promotional campaigns, editorial and live events, including The Veronicas, Rose Byrne, The Pussycat Dolls, David Wenham, Jessica Mauboy, Emma Booth, Sophie Monk, James Marsden, Richard Roxburgh and Jennifer Hawkins.
